Getting to the Bishop’s Palace

The Bishop’s palace is located in the heart of Chichester, just west of the Cathedral. It is accessed from Canon Lane, just off south street.

Continue along Canon lane until the end, where you will see signs for the Bishop’s Palace which also say Private/No Entry. Continue past these signs, and straight ahead into the Bishop’s garden, past the palace itself. Turn right, and the entrance is on the westward facing side of the building. There is no parking available at the Bishop’s Palace, but it is a short walking distance from many parking lots in Chichester.
